Remembering you today, dear cousin-in-law John. Your loving widow (my cherished maternal cousin Helen) mourns you so deeply that you are surely able to feel her enduring devotion from the other side. You also left behind many other people who adored and respected you; therefore, you live on in all their hearts...including mine. I pray every night for Helen's to mend as she carries you forward with her in life.
Lastly, your sweet granddaughter Isla is being taught all about you -- just as I had to learn about my own grandfather who passed away before I was born. Photographs help this process a lot, and luckily there is a vast collection of images capturing the joy and comfort you brought to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you. I symbolically light this virtual candle in your honour.
